outcomings and the objectives of caa

Welcome to my next session of the series in this blog I tried to explain the outcomings and the objectives of caa happy learning!

The CAA tells  the historical injustices faced by religious minorities in Afghanistan, Bangladesh, and Pakistan, where they are subjected to persecution, violence, and discrimination they faced many insecurities and constent fear of life . Granting them citizenship rights and try to make their life better is a step towards rectifying the injustices faced by them and ensuring their safety and security is the main goal of the govt . Now people argue here that why the muslim community is excluded why this discrimination so let me clarify the countries which are included in the act are Afghanistan, Bangladesh, and Pakistan, where the population of them are already too high and they didn’t face any insecurities there so if they don’t have any insecurities which can subject to there persecution whats the need to provide them security?

The CAA prioritizes the protection of persecuted minorities who have fled religious persecution in their home countries. By granting them Indian citizenship, the legislation provides them with a safe haven where they can live without fear of persecution and discrimination based on their religious beliefs.

·        India has a long-standing tradition of providing refuge to those fleeing persecution and violence, irrespective of their religious affiliation. The CAA reaffirms India's commitment to humanitarian values by extending support to persecuted religious minorities in neighboring countries. There is a famous Sanskrit slogan in india which says अतिथि देवो भव:  means the guest is equivalent to God. So By granting citizenship to persecuted religious minorities from neighboring countries, the CAA contributes to India's national security by addressing vulnerabilities along its borders. It helps in integrating these communities into mainstream society, thereby fostering social stability and cohesion.

By providing refuge to those who lived there life in vulnerable condition, the CAA aligns with India's legal, constitutional, and moral principles, which contributes to a more inclusive and compassionate society. keep in touch for the next topic.
